This demonstration project is located in the section of 18 Bay scenic area of Taihu lake, and stated at the east of the Meiyuan and ends at Lv River, which is about 13 km of the area, including 14 flood channels which run into the Taihu Lake. The project area is composed of three parts, the first part is the beginning of Shiba Bay section from the foothills north bay to the Shiba Bay road, mainly for the domestic sewage collection of muddy water flowing down from the mountain area; The second part is Yangwanbang Estuary, water quality there is extremely bad; The third part is the island wetland near the lake where the lakeside zone was muddy, in summer the lake covered by cyanobacteria packages; the islands are damaged by wave erosion, which is serious. In the island, weeds are overgrown and the ecological environment is severely damaged. The total investment in project construction is 30 million Yuan.
Through the ecological dredging, alga controlling and ecological restoration, restore 18-Bay estuary river lakeside and desert island area, to improve the environment, build healthy aquatic ecosystems, species diversity and wetland landscape level, and form a lakeside wetland ecological restoration engineering and scientific research and demonstration project. We are try to make this project into an inland lake wetland restoration demonstration area in advanced level, and provide an example for promotion.
Pre-storage wetland restoration project, stream wetlands restoration, estuary ecological restoration project, lake shoal swamp wetland restoration project, levee soften landscape engineering and healthy water in Taihu Lake ecosystem construction.
The project includes the following techniques: water quality security technology, soft belt, blocking cyanobacteria, wind wave cutting technology, plant floating bed technology, water algae removal techniques in water body and aquatic vegetation restoration technology, etc.
