Management Plan of Shajiabang National Wetland Park is basic document for park’s management and development. It is the outline of applying for and protecting the “International Important Wetlands”, also the summary of scientific, logical, effective and operable actions for realizing the wetland park’s overall goal.
Under the joint guidance from People’s Government of Changshu, Yushan Shanghu Tourist Resort of Changshu and senior consultants in the field of wetland, according to the national and provincial related laws and management regulations, combined with the existing projects and plan, the management plan was carried out by the means of data collection, field investigation, community opinion survey, etc.
Starting with protecting of existing natural resources, implementing the wetland restoration project, effectively carrying out scientific research and monitoring work, promoting the management ability, expanding science popularization, regional coordination and community building, cooperation for external support, promoting the combination of ecotourism with revolutionary tradition education, the management can promote the management effectiveness of Shajiabang National Wetland Park.
