Project is located in Baotou City. The ministry of environmental protection and solid waste chemicals technology center led the overall coordination management of the project, mainly for water, gas, solid waste comprehensive improvement, Nanjing University Changshu Ecological Research Institute is responsible mainly for water ecological restoration part.
The project mainly includes Hubuhai Ditch, Kundulun River, Sidaosha River, Erdaosha River, Xi River, Dong River, Ashan’gou in Baotou City and also includes the wetland ecological purification and ecological restoration, the total length of the river is 83.1 km, with a total investment of 620 million Yuan.
Through the river wetland pollution purification project and river wetland restoration project, the river estuary water quality reaches the Yellow Standard. We also consider about the river landscape effect.
Kundulun River, Sidaosha River, Erdaosha River, Xi River, Dong River channel regulation projects and Nanhai Wetland reconstruction project include the following key technologies:
(1) the channel morphology restoration technology;
(2) channel basement repairing technology;
(3) river bank slope repairing technology;
(4) channel buffer zone repairing technology;
(5) river ecosystem recovery technology;
(6) river water quality purification technology.
