Changshu Wetland Science and Education Museum is located in “Deep Greenfield” area, the total exhibition area is about 3,000 m2. The museum is divided into 2 floors, including 5 theme exhibition halls: Preface Hall, Kidney of The Earth, River of Culture, Wetland in Changshu and Lake of Harmony, as well as a 4D dynamic cinema.
Preface hall: wetland impression: various beautiful wetlands around the world, wetland plants and animals.
Kidney of The Earth: basic knowledge of wetlands, like wetland definition, classification, function, wetland flora and fauna, etc.
River of Culture: the provenance of wetland culture, the introduce Wu Culture in Changshu.. Wetland in Changshu: various wetland types and creatures in Changshu.
Lake of Harmony: through large art scene “Fight between people and land”, the hall exhibits series problems like water pollution, over exploitation of resources, etc., and finally explains the efforts Changshu made in wetland protection.
Through the wetland journeys in museum, tourists can come close to wetland, understand the wetland in Changshu and will think about wetland protection and restoration, respect wetland and looking forward to the future of Changshu City.
